WELCOME VISITORS

We welcome you to Forest Hills Presbyterian Church!  We hope you experience worship as faithful and inspiring, and as relevant to your life.  The green booth located immediately to your right as you leave the Sanctuary is the Visitor Welcome Center.  Name tags for visitors are there, along with church information that's of interest to visitors and prospective new members.  We also invite you to gather with us for refreshments and conversation.  Thanks for worshiping with us, and please, come again!

NEW MEMBERS will be received into the church on sunday, April 25.  There will be two classes for those considering church membership to learn more about Forest Hills Presbyterian Church - on Sunday, April 11 and 18, following the service, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM.  We'd love to visit with you about the joys, challenges and opportunities here at FHPC.  Come to either class or both.

ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING envelopes are now available in the pew racks.  Please support our annual OGHS offering, which finances emergency hunger relief, refugee resettlement, community self-development and disaster assistance programs.  Although we diesgnate Palm Sunday as the "official" OGHS Offering Day, envelopes will be available and offerings gratefully received through April.  Please help the neediest.

FUNDRAISER FOR YOUTH MISSION TRIP  Leslie DeJong Bonney will be holding a Silpada Jewelry Open House at here home on Thursday, March 24, from 12:00 - 2:00 PM, and 6:30 - 8:30 PM.  All profits from sales will go to the Sr. High Youth Mission Trip.  Also, the free jewelry awarded from sales will be added to the Silent Auction items on April 25.  Call Leslie with any questions.

PIECEFUL GATHEIRNG QUILTERS  We had 19 quilters working on Thursday, March 11th, and we completed 5 quilts to be donated!  Each one was different and they all looked wonderful.  We also cut up all the fabric we had into 5-inch squares and have several quilts at different stages of completion.  Our next meeting will be Thursday, April 8th, from 2:00 to 8:00 PM.  Remember - everyone is welcome to join us.  You do not need to know how to sew.  There are many different jobs to do and we are more than happy to teach you.  Patty Moyer and Mary Klynstra

YOU'RE INVITED!  Today, after worship, we will be gathering feedback from our current small group leaders about our current 252 Basics program.  If you are interested in being a small group leader next year, this might be a good time to come and check it out.  Come down to the new education room for some refreshments and good conversation.
