The committee structure of our church seeks to serve our Vision and Mission, to make it alive, real and effective. This structure also demands a great deal of the membership. Many members become involved in the congregation’s decision making through this structure.
The governing body of the church, according to the constitution of the PC(USA), is the Session. This is made up of 18 members elected as elders, serving for three year terms, divided into three classes.
The committees report to the Session, which meets 8 times a year. There are 7 such committees. The following identifies each, gives their task and also provides the name of the chairman.
